First, let me just say that Theresa was fabulous!! We were a party of 5, 3 of us visiting friends in the area who suggested Prato as it is a favorite of theirs. The food was amazing, the service outstanding and of course the company was wonderful. I just ordered a gift card for our friends in Altamonte Springs! Hope to be back soon...

Mustard Spaghettini "Cacio E Pepe"

This dish is absolutely fantastic! This was our first time dining at Prato, and I am so incredibly happy that we got to try this dish (the full portion). It's a simple dish bursting with flavor. I even ordered one to-go! Don't miss out on this delicious palette-tantalizing dish.

By far my favorite app...especially if you enjoy mushrooms! The crostini was perfectly balanced as both crisp and chewy, the flavor balance was both tart and slightly sweet, and toppings were spread out evenly and sliced well enough that they didn't fall off while picking up a piece.

We stop here all the time after we get done free diving in central or northern Florida . We're from the palm beaches so that shows ya how much we like this place . We've had various dishes, but after a hard couple days of diving , we look forward to nothing better than a widow maker pizza . Beer with pizza you might say - nah . We polish ii off with a white linen and cetriolo martini. Carb loading accomplished !!!

Mustard Spaghettini "Cacio E Pepe"

Probably one of the best, if not the best pasta dish I've ever had. Love the meat they put in here, the balance is perfect.

Potato Gnocchi*

First off, we had a multitude of dishes since it was our first time, and I can say simply that the quality of the food was worth the price. From the cocktails to the "fall-inspired" appetizers to the fan-favorite meals, everything was perfection. I didn't understand much when our server Greg talked about "fall flavors" in the appetizers, but we got the arancini and the crostini and divine would be the perfect word for the food. The crostini was my favorite, with the tartness of the kumquat balancing the buttery mushrooms and the crunchy bread. For our meals, I had the mustard spaghettini (a fan fave) and other person got the potato gnocchi, and while I see the love for simplicity in good taste of the spaghettini, the gnocchi was what stayed on my taste buds. There was a distinct taste in the sauce that was so flavorful and delicious, and the gnocchi itself soft and yet still chewy. The fresh herbs on all the dishes were not unnoticed, as the taste was definitely elevated by them. Lastly we had the tiramisu and panna cotta. While the two others can attest to "the best tiramisu ever tasted", I savored the sweet and creamy deliciousness alone, topped with marmalade maybe(?) and breadcrumbs, adding to the perfection of the smooth taste, and ending a stellar dining experience. I will be coming back again, not only to try the various other meals that promise to exceed expectations, but indulge in that gnocchi that I only got to have a few bites of.

Black Truffle Arancini

Fantastic taste and amazing balance with the soft crunch of the bread crumbs and soft buttery goodness of the risotto-like rice! The base of each ball had an amazing thick paste (maybe the butter) and the topping of the cranberry was (figuratively) the cherry on top! They deff went fast on our table, and we ended up getting a second order.

Potato Gnocchi*

This is by far the best thing Ive ever tasted. I recommend this plate to everyone. You can taste the fresh ingredients in this dish. I promise you will be asking for seconds!
